firmware upgrade : 0- SWITCH OFF 24V on FEB 1- Switch SW2 (close to USB connector) : put switch #2 to OFF position (this will disconnect the FX3 USB uC EEPROM thus avoid it to load the AUG unige FW and to boot on its default bootloader mode) 2- SWITCH ON 24V on FEB 3- Launch FEB host application (an error could be detetected since we are in bootloader mode now : click OK) 4- Verify 'Bootloader' in USB device list 5- Menu Util\Fx3\upgrade 6- Switch SW2 (close to USB connector) : put switch #2 to ON position (like the message box ask) 7- FEB v1 : choose 'AUG-x.x-500KHz.img' file host app/util directory (x.x = FX3 fw version) FEB v2 : choose 'AUG-x.x-1MHz.img' file host app/util directory (x.x = FX3 fw version) 8- wait prog. end (~1 min.) 9- SWITCH OFF & ON 24V on FEB ----------------------------------------------------------------- Driver installation : The 1st time you install the FX3 FW for Unige VID/PID, you'll need to tell to windows the driver path : - copy locally and unzip 'UnigeDriver.zip' - connect the USB device WIN7: - If 'WestBridge' or 'AUG' is not shown in the device manager, uninstall the driver for the FX3 BootLoader Device and Reconnect the device on USB - Update 'WestBridge' driver by selecting the win7 directory on the path where you unzip the 'UnigeDriver.zip' - Accept the warning from windows and install driver WIN10: - If 'WestBridge' or 'AUG' is not shown in the device manager, uninstall the driver for the FX3 BootLoader Device and Reconnect the device on USB - In win10/x64 : Double click on the test_certificate.cer file and click on Install Certificates - Click Next - Choose Place all certificates in the following store and click Browse - Choose Trusted Root Certification Authorities and click OK - Click Next and Finish - Then again re-click on Install Certificates - Click Next - Choose Place all certificates in the following store and click Browse - Choose Trusted Publishers and click OK - Click Next and Finish
